From 10-12 March, the 13th London edition of the world's biggest, most comprehensive festival celebrating women, girls and non-binary people will be back with three days of laughter, joy, discussion, world-class speakers, artists and activists.

Yesterday, on International Women’s Day, The Duchess of Cornwall hosted a reception at Clarence House to celebrate the work of The WOW Foundation and to celebrate its 12th annual WOW Festival in London this weekend. As President of The WOW Foundation, The Duchess of Cornwall was met by Jude Kelly CBE, Founder and CEO.

Following this weekend’s sold out Shameless! Festival, WOW - Women of the World has announced the initial line-up for its 2022 London Festival, supported by Bloomberg, which returns  to the Southbank Centre from 11-13 March to mark International Women’s Day.

Shameless! Festival of Activism Against Sexual Violence, a one-day in person event and digital programme, will bring together activism and art to confront and change attitudes towards sexual violence, share ideas, and imagine a rape free world. Today WOW - Women of the World and Birkbeck, University of London's Sexual Harms and Medical Encounters (SHaME) project have announced some of the highlights from this vital event.

Pioneering arts leader Paul Crewes, who has served since 2015 as the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts' first Artistic Director, steps down from his position at the end of this year and transitions to a new role as Artistic Advisor for the balance of The Wallis' 2021-2022 Season, it was announced by Michael Nemeroff, Chairman of the Board.

WOW - Women of the World's UK March flagship Festival will, for the first time, take place online. Starting today, the festival celebrating women and girls, which is usually held at the Southbank Centre, will run for three weeks (1st - 21st March).

Olivier Award-winning EMILIA returns online for the month of March in time for International Women's Day (8 March). WOW UK Festival 2021 (thewowfoundation.com) joins as a partner, hosting a workshop with writer Morgan Lloyd Malcolm and director Nicole Charles at 4pm on 6 March.

The WOW Foundation pivoted to an immensely successful, virtual event in 2020. From 1st March, WOW Festivals and events will take place across the world from festivals in regions including Australia, Bangladesh, Istanbul, Nepal, New York, Pakistan, Taiwan and the UK.
