Glamour Magick is the fourth in a series co-hosted by the Museum and New-York Historical in support of the exhibition The Salem Witch Trials: Reckoning and Reclaiming, which closes on January 22, 2023.

The 2018 winners of the New York International Piano Competition (TheNYIPC), under the auspices of the Stecher & Horowitz Foundation, were announced at an Awards Ceremony at Manhattan School of Music on Friday evening (June 22). Prizes and awards totaling $50,000 were presented. Robert Sherman served as Master of Ceremonies. The week-long event began on June 18.
In actuality all the pianists competing in The Ninth New York International Piano Competition are winners because no contestant gets eliminated during the grueling four day event.
Teachers College, Columbia University's Campaign for Educational Equity, in collaboration with the Epic Theatre Ensemble, is presenting 10467, an original, educational equity-themed play written and performed by high school students on Wednesday, March 23, 5:30-8:00 pm, at the College's Joyce B. The Stecher and Horowitz Foundation has announced 18-year old Jun Hwi Cho of Seoul, South Korea as the Joyce B. Cowin First Prize Winner of the Seventh New York International Piano Competition. In addition to a $10,000 cash prize, the Stecher and Horowitz Foundation will also present Mr. Cho in distinguished venues throughout the United States, beginning in the 2014-15 season.
