Cast and Creative Team Announced for THE ABSOLUTE BRIGHTNESS OF LEONARD PELKEY

The Old Globe today announced the creative team for the next show of the Globe's 2017 2018 Season, acclaimed actor and playwright James Lecesne's tour-de-force one-man show, The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey. This thoroughly entertaining new play is directed by Tony Speciale and will run September 30 October 29, 2017 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Previews run September 30 October 4, with opening night on Thursday, October 5 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at $30 and are now on sale.

Michael Riedel of the New York Post wrote an article voicing his concerns about the costuming of the upcoming revival of When Pigs Fly. Riedel looked back fondly on the original production, which opened in 1996 and was on of the longest running off-Broadway shows of its era.

The new Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY has announced that a limited number of $38 general rush tickets (including the $2 facility fee) will be available at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre box office (236 West 45th Street) when it opens for that day's performance(s). Limited to two tickets per person, tickets are subject to availability. Cash and major credit cards are accepted.
