Junkyard Dog Productions announced today that the Tony Award-winning musical Come From Away recouped its $12 million capitalization in less than 8 months on Broadway.

Tickets to the return engagement of COME FROM AWAY have been on public sale for only a week and already the multi award-winning musical has achieved $12M at the box office. That's a new record for theatre sales in Canada.

The new production of HOWARD CRABTREE'S WHEN PIGS FLY, which was scheduled to open October 30 at Stage 42 (422 West 42nd Street), has been cancelled.

This thoroughly entertaining new play is directed by Tony Speciale and will run September 30 October 29, 2017 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Previews run September 30 October 4, with opening night on Thursday, October 5 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at $30 and are now on sale.

Michael Riedel of the New York Post wrote an article voicing his concerns about the costuming of the upcoming revival of When Pigs Fly. Riedel looked back fondly on the original production, which opened in 1996 and was on of the longest running off-Broadway shows of its era.

The new Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY has announced that a limited number of $38 general rush tickets (including the $2 facility fee) will be available at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre box office (236 West 45th Street) when it opens for that day's performance(s). Limited to two tickets per person, tickets are subject to availability. Cash and major credit cards are accepted.

The critically acclaimed off-Broadway hit The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey, written by and starring James Lecesne, the writer of the Academy Award-winning film Trevor comes to the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts for a limited performance engagement Friday, December 2 through Sunday, December 4.
