It was all art and all heart when the creators of BEAU celebrated a slew of Drama Desk noms in a (sort of) impromptu reunion concert.

Monty Python’s Spamalot is a jubilant and genuinely hilarious touring rendition of the 2023 Broadway revival. If you’re looking for hearty laughs and a winning combo of slapstick humor,witty pop culture, and musical theater references, Spamalot’s got it in spades.

The National Tour of SPAMALOT is now playing at Broadway In Chicago’s CIBC Theatre for a limited two-week engagement. The cast includes Major Attaway as King Arthur, Sean Bell as Sir Robin, Chris Collins-Pisano as Sir Lancelot, and more.

Beau The Musical will release an Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording led by Drama Desk Award nominee Matt Rodin. The album will be produced by Grammy Award Winner Ian Kage.

Out of the knights, I knew the least about Monty Python, so I had a lot of catching up to do. I was building the plane as I was flying it, but they were so gracious in helping me learn about the style of comedy that it is.

Outrageously silly and positively contagious in its deranged fun, Spamalot is quite possibly the best night out you will have all year.
