54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, presents Broadway SIGNs! Halloween Spooktacular with headliner Russell Harvard (To Kill A Mockingbird, Spring Awakening Deaf West revival) and an ensemble cast of rockers, actors and pop artists. Expect a Twilight Zone-inspired night of musical storytelling and Halloween classics in American Sign Language (ASL).

April 14 to 16, 2022, Los Angeles Philharmonic Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel will conduct the Los Angeles Philharmonic and a star-studded cast in a groundbreaking event directed by Alberto Arvelo, co-directed by Joaquín Solano and produced in collaboration with Los Angeles’s acclaimed, Tony Award®-winning Deaf West Theatre (Artistic Director DJ Kurs), Artistic Producer Gabriela Camejo, and Deaf performers of El Sistema’s Coro de Manos Blancas (White Hands Choir) in a new production of Ludwig van Beethoven’s only opera Fidelio at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

National Disability Theatre has received a $50,000 grant from the Ford Foundation. These funds will support the National Disability Theatre's mission of employing professional theatre artists who create fully accessible, world-class theatre and storytelling; change social policy and the nation's narrative about disability culture; and provide a guiding model in accessibility for the arts and cultural sector.

A recipient of DCA's inaugural CreateNYC Disability Forward Fund, IRT Theater will present six work in progress presentations of the new musical, Stepchild. This fully accessible piece is a radical retelling of Cinderella, seen through the eyes of a young Deaf woman coming of age in a kingdom violently intolerant of difference. All presentations will take place at IRT's Greenwich Village home from May 29- June 2, 2019.

The popular intimate nightclub, The Sorting Room, returns this summer to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, delivering a compelling and eclectic mix of music, comedy and cabaret with nine diverse sessions from June 22 – July 21, 2018, 7 pm. The Sorting Room  transforms the Lovelace Studio Theater into a 140-seat custom built nightclub space that offers Los Angeles audiences a rare opportunity to experience some of the best and emerging talent in cabaret, live contemporary music, spoken word, and more.
