Review: JACK ABSOLUTE FLIES AGAIN, National Theatre

Jack Absolute Flies Again! Originally scheduled for the Spring of 2020, it took two years, a director change, and a cast reshuffling for the show to get off the ground. It finally lands at the Olivier in a flashy production that has very little substance. One wonders how such a play ended up on one of the most coveted, prominent stages in London.

Shakespeare's Globe Announces Full Casting For Matt Hartley's New Play EYAM

Shakespeare's Globe has announced full casting for Matt Hartley's new play Eyam, directed by Adele Thomas, opening in The Globe on Saturday 15 September. When the plague arrives surprisingly in the Derbyshire village of Eyam in 1665, the community face a moral dilemma. They must decide whether to flee and risk spreading the vicious disease, or stay, protect others from the risk, and face the potential of their own slow and painful death.

Following their hugely successful co-production with Hull Truck Theatre of Richard III, Northern Broadsides are set to premiere For Love or Money, Blake Morrison's new adaptation of Alain-Rene Lesage's savage eighteenth-century French comedy Turcaret. RSC Sets Cast of WENDY & PETER PAN

Full casting is announced for the Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) family winter production of Wendy & Peter Pan. A magical adaptation of JM Barrie's classic novel by Ella Hickson, the show returns to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre following the productions acclaimed success in 2013.
