The Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) Board of Trustees and Executive Director Bonnie J. Butkas announced today that Courtney Sale, Artistic Director of Seattle Children's Theatre, will become the Nancy L. Donahue Artistic Director here in March. She will be the first woman to serve as artistic director and the first to fill the position since it was named in honor of Founding Chair Nancy L. Donahue.

Opera House Arts at the Stonington Opera House in Maine announced today the complete casts and creative teams for the company's 20th Anniversary Season, which includes Shakespeare in Love (July 18-28), based on the screenplay by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard, adapted for the stage by Lee Hall as well as Avalon (August 15-25), a world-premiere by Melody Bates.

THE CLOCKWORK BOY, a new play by Matt Tiemstra, will receive its New York premiere in the 2016 Thespis Theater Festival at the Hudson Guild Theater. The show follows a young android named Jeremy as he desperately tries to solve the mystery of his own existence among humans. Performances will begin September 20th at 9:00 p.m. at the Hudson Guild Theater on 441 West 26th Street. Emily Garrison directs the production.
