Samuel French has assembled a distinguished judging panel including playwrights Jiehae Park, James Hindman, Lauren Yee and Rachel Bonds; Artistic Directors Andrew Leynse (Primary Stages), Jonathan Silverstein (Keen Company), Susan Westfall (City Theatre, Miami), Emily Morse (New Dramatists) and Ciera Iverson (National Alliance of Musical Theatres); and industry professionals John Clinton Eisner (The Lark), Michael Walkup (Page 73), Abigail Katz (Atlantic Theater Company).

National Endowment for the Arts Chairman Jane Chu has approved more than $82 million to fund local arts projects across the country in the NEA's second major funding announcement for fiscal year 2017. Included is an Art Works award of $10,000 to Keen Company to further develop Kenny's Finkle's 1993 Melancholy Experience, a play that was developed in Keen's Playwrights Lab.

Several Drama Desk nominees met the press today at the New York Marriott Marquis Manhattan Ballroom and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the event.

Tonight, Thursday, March 23rd, Keen Company will present KEEN CONVERSATIONS, following the evening performance. This week's KEEN CONVERSATION is How Gun Violence Affects the Loved Ones of Victims and Survivors.

Ana Reeder, who won an Obie Award for her role in Small Tragedy at Playwrights Horizons, stars in the World Premiere of Courtney Baron's When It's You, directed by Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein, now in previews for a March 19th opening. Action by Eleanor Burgess directed by Julie Kramer; Rat Court by Boo Killebrew, directed by Daisy Walker; and Tilda Swinton Betrayed Us by A. Rey Pamatmat, directed by Zi Alikhan.

This is the final week to see Keen Company's acclaimed new production of Jonathan Larson's Tick, Tick...BOOM! After a historic (for Keen Company!) 11-week run, Tick, Tick...BOOM! will play its final performance this Sunday, December 18th.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) has introduced the cast of Oliver! This classic comes to life on the stage from April 5 - 17, 2016 in Sarofim Hall at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.
