Keen Company's JOHN & JEN with Kate Baldwin & Conor Ryan Begins Performances Tomorrow

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company will present the first New York revival of John & Jen, the musical with music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Greenwald and Lippa. Performances begin February 10th at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues). Opening Night is set for Thursday February 26th.

Kate Baldwin to Lead Off-Broadway Revival of Andrew Lippa's JOHN & JEN

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced that Kate Baldwin would star in a rare revival of John & Jen, the musical with music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Greenwald and Lippa. This production will include the premiere of a new song, "Trouble with Men." Additional casting and designers to be announced shortly.

Attic Theater Company to Host Reading of John Tillotson's THE FACE OF HEAVEN, 11/11

The Attic Theater Company presents THE FACE OF HEAVEN, a staged reading of a new play by John Tillotson, directed by Laura Braza. The reading will take place on Tuesday, November 11 at 7:30 PM in the The Ellington Room at Manhattan Plaza (400 West 43rd Street - 2nd Floor). The reading is FREE and open to the public. Drama League Will Honor James Earl Jones at 2015 Gala- MUSICAL CELEBRATION OF BROADWAY

The Drama League (Executive Director Gabriel Shanks; Artistic Director Roger T. Danforth) announced today they will honor the legendary Emmy®, Grammy®, Oscar® and Tony® Award (EGOT) winner James Earl Jones at the 31st Annual Musical Celebration of Broadway, to be held onMonday evening, February 2, 2015 at the famed Pierre Hotel (2 East 61st Street). The black-tie gala, which features dozens of stars from Hollywood and Broadway in a one-night-only musical tribute inspired by Mr. Jones' career in theater, film and television, supports The Drama League's educational initiatives for promising young artists. Keen Company's 15th Season to Feature Kathleen Chalfant in A WALK IN THE WOODS and Revival of JOHN & JEN

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced that their 2014 - '15 season will begin with the first major New York revival of Lee Blessing's A Walk In The Woods starring Kathleen Chalfant and Paul Niebanck, directed by Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein. It will be followed in the spring by a rare revival of John & Jen, the musical with music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Lippa and Greenwald.

Keen Company's Keen Teens Begins Performances 5/9

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company presents Keen Teens, the educational theatre partnership between Off-Broadway's Keen Company and the theatrical publishing company Samuel French. The writers for the program's eighth season are Kristoffer Diaz, Halley Feiffer, and Kenny Finkle, who have been commissioned to write thirty-minute, large cast plays, which will be produced with student actors Off-Broadway.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced the plays for the inaugural Keen Playwrights Lab: Skopje by Gabe McKinley, directed by Christian Parker; The Human Court by Jessica Dickey, directed by Davis McCallum; and Dust by Qui Nguyen, directed by Linsay Firman. This year's Keen Playwrights Lab will offer this year's readings at Art-NY's Bruce Mitchell Room, beginning April 8th.

Barnes & Noble will celebrate the new Ghostlight Records cast recording MARRY ME A LITTLE - featuring songs by Stephen Sondheim - with a special in-st0re performance and CD signing on Monday, January 13 at 6:00 PM. The event will include performances by the show's stars Lauren Molina and Jason Tam, who will be joined on piano by Musical Director John Bell. It will be hosted by Jonathan Silverstein, Artistic Director of Keen Company. The album is based on the company's recent hit production.
