Jon Rua received the call that he would be going on as Alexander Hamilton the morning of the show. Without a proper put-in rehearsal, he rushed to the Richard Rodgers to take on the title role of the hottest ticket in town for the first time.

As BWW previously reported, a new MAGIC MIKE stage musical is currently in the works from Tom Kitt, Brian Yorkey and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Now, HAMILTON's Jon Rua has posted a photo on Instagram from a recent reading for the show, and it looks like his HAMILTON co-star Chris Jackson was also involved.
