Legendary star of Broadway, Brian Stokes Mitchell will perform for one night only at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on September 11th at 8pm.

Edwin Outwater, Music Director at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and legendary drag queen/horror icon Peaches Christ will host the online benefit which takes audiences on a chilling tour of the piano repertoire's darkest and most haunting moments. 

Two lucky readers will win two tickets to Maestro of the Movies with the LA Philharmonic, under the direction of John Williams and David Newman at the Hollywood Bowl on September 3. The contest closes on Sunday, August 29 at 11:59pm ET. Winners will be notified the following day.

The Philly POPS announced today that tickets for the 2021–2022 Lights Up! Showtime! season are on sale now. The POPS will celebrate this new season will a free public performance, Dancin' in Dilworth with The Philly POPS little BIG Band, on August 4, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. at Dilworth Park.

The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra has added three orchestra-with-film events to its  schedule this fall and early winter.

To commemorate the solemn anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Utah Symphony will perform John Williams' “Hymn to the Fallen,” Elgar's “Nimrod” from “Enigma Variations,” Copland's “Lincoln Portrait” and Valerie Coleman's “Umoja: An Anthem for Unity” overlooking a powerful sea of red, white and blue flags representing each of the individuals who lost their lives during the attacks on September 11, 2001.

Recipients to be honored at the annual national celebration of the arts in Washington, D.C. are: operatic bass-baritone Justino Díaz, Motown founder, songwriter, producer, and director Berry Gordy, Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels, legendary stage and screen icon Bette Midler, and singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell.

The Boston Symphony will return to Tanglewood, its summer home in the beautiful Berkshires since 1937, and to welcome back audiences, July 4–August 26, for the first time since March 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a 15-month performance hiatus.
