MUSE/IQUE, Pasadena's pioneering performing arts organization, is proud to announce its second summer music series at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens on July 6, August 3 and August 24, 2019. Performances will take place at the Library Lawn. All programs are led by MUSE/IQUE Founder and Artistic Director Rachael Worby, and feature the MUSE/IQUE Orchestra with special guests including vocalist Joshua Henry, cellist Ben Hong, vocalist Liv Redpath, American Ballet Theatre dancers, piano duo Anderson & Roe, and more to be announced.
David Danzmayr returned as guest conductor this season to lead the San Diego Symphony Orchestra in a program that began and ended with Finland's greatest composer, Jean Sibelius. In between came the virtuosic horn concerto by the most successful contemporary American composer of classical music, John Williams.

Boston Court Pasadena continues its mission of fostering new musical talent with the 3rd Annual Emerging Artists Series, May 30 June 9, 2019. Thousands of movie lovers have seen the acclaimed films Us, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, and Captain Marvel in recent weeks. In May the Los Angeles Master Chorale gives fans the chance to hear them, performing music by composers Michael Abels, John Powell, and Pinar Toprak in a concert celebrating film scores and opera ensemble writing called Great Opera & Film Choruses at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
