More than one hundred solo performers, festival supporters, special guests, and members of the theatre community took part in the United Solo Closing Gala.

THE STORY OF SANTA CLAUS, an animated, musical holiday special featuring the voices of Edward Asner, Betty White and Tim Curry, will be rebroadcast Saturday, Nov. 26 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater presents a fall foray into the macabre with the musical Nevermore. With music by Matt Connor, book by Grace Barnes, and lyrics adapted from Edgar Allan Poe, Nevermore runs October 20 - November 6. Nevermore is directed by Christopher Ostrom and features Leigh Barrett, Cynthia Harrington, Amie Lytle, Madison Mayer, Ethan Paulini, and Anne Stott, with Music Director & Pianist John Thomas.

Peter Reckell, the Emmy nominated actor best known for playing Bo Brady, a role he originated in 1981 on the NBC drama Days of Our Lives, will take on the role of the suave and charismatic El Gallo when he joins the cast of the long running musical THE FANTASTICKS in a limited engagement that begins on September 5th and runs through September 25th the show's producers, Al Parinello and Catherine Russell announced today. This isn't the first time the he's performed in the show. Mr. Reckell played the role of The Mute (and covered The Boy) 35 years ago, in the Sullivan Street Production.

Lorenzo Lamas, (Grease, Falcon Crest, Celebrity Apprentice) has signed on to play the suave and charismatic narrator El Gallo in the long running musical THE FANTASTICKS this fall.

While Provincetown's Art House has become known as the East Coast's hot spot for Broadway's biggest musical stars (think Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald, Kristin Chenoweth, all of whom are headlining there this summer), the venue has an equally long and famous (or infamous as the case may intentionally be) reputation as the right coast's breeding ground for cutting-edge comedy.

2016 marks the centenary of the year Eugene O'Neill began writing ground-breaking plays in Provincetown, considered the birthplace of modern American theater. This year, the 11th Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater (TW Fest) will offer new approaches to staging O'Neill from the perspective of Tennessee Williams' genre-busting dramas.

Mark Cortale, Producing Artistic Director of The Art House in Provincetown, MA, has announced that 6-time Tony winner Audra McDonald will return to Provincetown on August 21 for one show only, joined by husband and fellow-Broadway star Will Swenson.  Matthew Morrison star of "Glee" and "Finding Neverland" is also slated to join pianist & host Seth Rudetsky for the Broadway @ Town Hall series on August 7th.  The Art House's hotly anticipated 2016 summer season will also include artists like Vanessa Williams, Kristin Chenoweth, Patti LuPone, Cheyenne Jackson, the Indigo Girls, Megan Hilty, Judy Kuhn, Gavin Creel and Steve Grand, among others. This summer, the venue's marquee Broadway concert series will again encompass performances at both The Art House as well as Provincetown's Town Hall. Philadelphia Young Playwrights once again gives 18 local high school students a chance to be heard as the 2016 Young Voices Monologue Festival winners will debut their work March 10-19 at the city's new home for new work, The Drake, 1512 Spruce Street.
