Colony Theatre Company to Stage California Premiere of THE FABULOUS LIPITONES

The Colony Theatre is thrilled to present the first production of its 41st season, the California Premiere of THE FABULOUS LIPITONES by John Markus and Mark St. Germain, directed by John Markus, with Musical Direction by Sam Kriger and Choreography by Murphy Cross. THE FABULOUS LIPITONES will preview on Wednesday, July 22; Thursday, July 23; and Friday, July 24 at 8:00pm. It will open on Saturday, July 25 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, August 23.

A green ogre, an enchanted garden, a rhyming feline, a punk rock opera, and the boy who asked for more ... just a sampling of what awaits the corner of Franklin and First in 2015-2016.  For the third consecutive year, Mark, Ricki, John Mark and Will Holleman will host 'Happenin' at the Hollemans,' a lovely evening featuring the unveiling of the Roxy Regional Theatre's highly-anticipated 'Better Than Broadway' season, on Monday, May 11, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Moth Theatre Company's LIGHT SENSITIVE to Run 4/30-5/31

Moth Theatre Company presents Light Sensitive written by Emmy Award nominee Jim Geoghan, directed by John Markland opening April 30 and running through May 31 in Hollywood. The cast will feature Preston Acuff, Sasha Kapustina, and Ned Liebl.

The Colony Theatre has announced the plays for its 2015-2016 season. Last night, Dr. Ruth Westheimer attended the performance of John Markus and Mark St. Germain's 'The Fabulous Lipitones,' on stage at George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick, and visited with the cast backstage following the performance.

Rehearsals Now Underway for THE FABULOUS LIPITONES at George Street Playhouse

Barbershop quartets will take center stage at New Brunswick's George Street Playhouse as they present John Markus and Mark St. Germain's a cappella musical comedy, The Fabulous Lipitones on stage beginning November 18. The cast includes You Tube sensation Rohan Kymal, and Broadway veterans Donald Corren, Wally Dunn and Jim Walton. Michael Mastro (The Subject Was Roses) returns to helm the production, and Broadway veteran Michael Lichtefeld will put the quartet through their paces as choreographer.
