Starcrawler Shares Cover of The Ramones' PET SEMATARY From Upcoming Film

Up-and-coming Los Angeles rock band Starcrawler, fronted by the enigmatic nineteen-year-old frontwoman Arrow de Wilde, release a cover of The Ramones' 1989 single “Pet Sematary” for the new Paramount Pictures film, based on Stephen King's iconic novel, in theaters April 5, 2019. Featured in the movie's closing credits, the band's cover of “Pet Sematary” was recorded by Mark Rankin (Queens of the Stone Age, Adele, Bloc Party, Weezer) and mixed by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten), and is a wild and contemporary run on the original track. Audible Inc. has announced new casting today for the world premiere of Proof of Love, the new play by Audible-commissioned playwright Chisa Hutchinson (Surely Goodness and Mercy, Somebody's Daughter), directed by Jade King Carroll (The Gin Game, Hello From the Children of Planet Earth) and produced in association with New York Theatre Workshop. The production will now feature Brenda Pressley (The Lyons, Almost Home, Seven Guitars), replacing the previously announced Suzzanne Douglas who is withdrawing due to personal reasons.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) marks the 60th anniversary of the center's groundbreaking this May, continuing weekend-long celebrations with the 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Gala on Sunday, May 5. The event will honor four families who have had a transformative influence on Lincoln Center: the Audrey and Martin Gruss Family, the Rockefeller Family, the Daisy and Paul Soros Family, and the Laurie M. Tisch Family. As Lincoln Center renews its commitment to supporting a thriving campus for the next generation, funds raised will help benefit the organization's artistic and educational activities which reach millions every year on campus and beyond.
