Hadestown begins preview performances tonight, March 22, at the Walter Kerr Theatre, ahead of a Wednesday, April 17 official opening night. Get to know the cast below as they begin Broadway performances!

Hadestown is gearing up for Broadway! The new musical, which begins previews on Friday, March 22 ahead of a Wednesday, April 17 opening night, has announced its digital lottery, general rush, and standing room policies.

The box office of the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) opens tomorrow at 10 AM for Hadestown, the eagerly anticipated new Broadway musical. The Kerr's normal box office hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10 AM until 8 PM. On Sunday, April 21, the box office will be open from 10 AM until 8 PM. Starting April 28, normal Sunday box office hours will be noon until 6 PM. Additionally, tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or by calling 877 250 2929.

Today, producers Mara Isaacs, Dale Franzen, Hunter Arnold, and Tom Kirdahy announced complete casting for Hadestown, the new musical by celebrated singer-songwriter Anais Mitchell, developed with innovative director and Tony Award nominee Rachel Chavkin.

The first national tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival of Hello, Dolly!, starring Tony Award winner Betty Buckley, launched earlier this year from the Stanley Theatre in Utica, New York. After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, Broadway Sacramento has confirmed casting for the six shows in the 68th Broadway At Music Circus season. The casts include a number of Broadway veterans-some of whom are making their Broadway At Music Circus debuts-and audience favorites from previous Broadway At Music Circus productions.

On Monday, January 22nd, cast members from the Broadway & touring productions of American Idiot will take to the stage of Feinstein's/54 Below to sing the music of Green Day.

Watch out Memphis, Tennessee because something WICKED is coming your way! Starting March 7, 2018, Orpheum Theatre will be showing WICKED until the curtain closes on March 25, 2018.

Broadway In Chicago has announced that a WICKED day-of-show drawing for a limited number of seats will take place inside Block 37.

The WICKED Tour will welcome Mary Kate Morrissey as Elphaba, beginning Tuesday, September 26th at the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati, OH.

The Wicked tour will welcome Jon Robert Hall as Fiyero and welcome back Catherine Charlebois as Nessarose, beginning Tuesday, August 22nd at Philadelphia's Academy of Music.

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's  Board of Directors welcomes several new leaders while saying thank you to a number of retiring board members. Tim Bergstrom, Rebecca Dunphey, Tim Fliss, Wilson Jones and Scott Teerlinck will fill vacancies created by retiring board members Sheri Edison, John Hogerty, Mike Hsu and Mark Loper.
