Student rush tickets will be offered for the extension performances of the critically acclaimed Signature Theatre production of Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, by Pulitzer Prize-winner Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Obie Award-winner Mark Brokaw, the company announced today.

The Barrow Group Theatre Company (Seth Barrish and Lee Brock, Co-Artistic Directors; Robert Serrell, Executive Director), recipient of a Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Award, launches their 2017-2018 season with the New York premiere of Muswell Hill, a play by Torben Betts, in a co-production with The Pond Theatre Company. Directed by Shannon Patterson, the six-member cast features Jason Alan Carvell (War Horse), as Mat, Colleen Clinton (Proof) as Jess, Lily Dorment (Abigail's Party) as Karen, Richard Hollis (The Curious Incident of the Dog in The Night-Time) as Simon, John Pirkis ( Blue Bloods ) as Tony, and Sarah Street (Abigail's Party) as Annie.

Last night, Tony Award-winning playwright David Henry Hwang presented the 2017 Kesselring Prize to rising young playwright Lauren Yee at the National Arts Club. The National Arts Club announces that Lauren Yee, the rising young playwright whose newest work, THE GREAT LEAP will be produced this season by Denver Center, Seattle Rep and Atlantic Theatre Company, is the recipient of the 2017 Kesselring Prize for playwriting from the National Arts Club (15 Gramercy Park South). The Prize includes a $25,000 award and the opportunity for Ms. Yee to reside for two weeks in the historic clubhouse of the National Arts Club in order to develop her work.

Sean Carvajal has joined the Signature Theatre production of Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, by Pulitzer Prize-winner Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Obie Award-winner Mark Brokaw. Mr. Carvajal assumes the role of Angel Cruz, which was previously played by Victor Rasuk, who has departed the production due to personal reasons.
