The Ocean Professional Theatre Company presents MAN OF LA MANCHA, now thru 7/8 at the Bengal Theatre, 180 Bengal Blvd, Barnegat, NJ, to open its Premiere Summer Season. The production will star John Davidson as Don Quixote with Broadway Producer and actress Heather Provost as Aldonza. We have a first look at the production photos below!

Fresh from the Off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks, long time entertainer, TV host and stage performer John Davidson will be appearing as Don Quixote for the third time-this time with the new Ocean Professional Theater Company's (OPTC) production of Man of La Mancha.

In 1966 the Hallmark Hall of Fame presented a television adaptation of Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt's Off Broadway musical THE FANTASTICKS. Ricardo Montalban appeared as El Gallo and Bert Lahr and Stanley Holloway were the two fathers. The young lovers were played by Broadway's favorite ingenue, Susan Watson, and a clean-cut young man named John Davidson who had made a strong impression on Broadway audiences as Lahr's son in the musical FOXY.

John Davidson, who starred as Matt in the 1964 Hallmark Hall of Fame version of The Fantasticks, will join the cast of the Off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks for a limited engagement in the role of Henry, The Old Actor.
