On Sunday, April 15th the long-running LA cult hit will be in New York.  Comedienne Susan Mosher (Hairspray) and recording artist John Boswell star as Johnny Niagra and Pepper Cole in the multimedia musical show.  Cashino will be at The Laurie Beechman Theater (407 W. 42nd Street), Sunday, April 15th at 9:30pm

"Each Cashino opens with one of four different short films (chock full of surprising cameos!) about the lives of two legendary singers and their continuing struggle to become internet entrepreneurs," state press notes.

"Johnny and Pepper then entertain audiences in person with a high energy, high strung and emotionally charged live set. Known for seamlessly blending 80's pop/rock with classic show tunes, medleys include: 'The Queen & I,' 'Midler On The Roof,' and 'The Prince & The Poppins.'  Where Melissa Manchester meets 'Spinal Tap,' Cashino is the multimedia event that will rock your world!"

Boswell has been immersed in music all his life.  John co-wrote a musical with actor Tim Robbins (The Player, Bob Roberts) before launching a multi-faceted career, in New York and Los Angeles. He worked on the Broadway productions Liza! Stepping Out in Radio City, The Secret Garden and Crazy for You.  Off-Broadway credits include The Kathy & Mo Show: Parallel Lives, as well as serving as musical director for Judy Collins, Andy Williams, Bob Newhart and John Davidson.  He has released several solo CDs.

Mosher first appeared on stage as a teenager in the West Coast Premiere of Godspell at the Old Globe Theatre. Off-Broadway work includes Suds (Original "Dee Dee") at the Criterion Center and Back To Bacharach and David.  TV Credits include "Without A Trace," "Three Sisters," "Snoops," HBO's "If These Walls Could Talk 2" (with Vanessa Redgrave), "Veronica's Closet," "Beverly Hills, 90210" and a recurring role on Showtime's "The L Word."  Film credits include A View From The Top, The Wedding Planner, Lost Souls and It's Pat!.

Mosher is currently appearing as the Female Authority Figure in the Broadway Company of Hairspray.
