The Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center shows its unwavering support for Israel and Jewish culture through the 8th annual Judy Levis Krug Boca Raton Jewish Film Festival. The Festival will offer a diverse array of Jewish and Israeli films that celebrate and explore Jewish heritage, fostering community engagement and cultural understanding.

As a private non-profit Historic Theatre venue, the decision for a show to go on as scheduled, or if the show will be postponed to a later date, is often times at the discretion of the show promoter, artist or presenting organization.

The Aloha International Piano Festival and Competition (AIPF) today announced that the 2018 weeklong music festival will feature the debut of acclaimed pianist Ory Shihor and the return of local favorites, pianists Jon Nakamatsu and John Bayless. AIPF takes place at the Hawaii Convention Center and University of Hawaii at Manoa's Orvis Auditorium from June 16 to 24, 2018, and features a week of concerts, masterclasses, competitions and workshops. Producers Bob Israel and Larry Hirschhorn announced today that Garry Marshall's iconic movie THE FLAMINGO KID is being developed as a musical, with sights set on a Spring, 2018 Broadway opening. 

A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder 's Robert L. Freedman has won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical. Freedman received the Fred Ebb and Kleban awards for the musicals A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder and Campaign of the Century with Steven Lutvak, and was nominated for Emmy and Writers Guild awards for the television miniseries Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows.

92Y presents an evening with the cast and creative team behind the best-reviewed show of the season, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder. Robert L. Freedman (book/lyrics) and Steven Lutvak (music/lyrics) discuss the production's ten-year journey to Broadway, with performances from cast members Jefferson Mays, Bryce Pinkham, Lisa O'Hare, and Lauren Worsham on Sunday, May 11 at 8 pm. The original cast album is released today on Ghostlight Records.
