Katie Bonna to Bring ALL THE THINGS I LIED ABOUT to Tron Theatre

As part of its autumn season, Fringe First winner Katie Bonna will be bringing ALL THE THINGS I LIED ABOUT to Tron Theatre this September following two great runs at Soho Theatre and Paines Plough Roundabout in Edinburgh 2016.

The Old Vic to Host QUEERS: THE NEXT 50 YEARS as Part of 'Voices Off' Series

The Old Vic will present Queers: The Next 50 Years as part of Voices Off, a series of talks, conversations, debates and workshops which explore the themes raised by the productions on the main stage. The discussion will take place in The Old Vic's Rehearsal Room on Thursday 27 July at 5.30pm.

Russell Tovey, Mark Bonnar & More Announced For QUEERS At Old Vic

The Old Vic today announces casting for Queers, a series of eight monologues curated by Mark Gatiss. Staged on 28 and 31 July at The Old Vic, they mark 50 years since the Sexual Offences Act of 1967 began the decriminalisation process for homosexuality between men. Queers celebrates some of the most poignant, funny, tragic and riotous moments of British gay male history over the last century. 

The Old Vic to Delve into WOYZECK with 'On Nature' Talk

The Old Vic will be presenting On Nature as part of Voices Off, a series of talks, conversations, debates and workshops which explore the themes raised by the productions on the main stage. The discussion will take place in The Old Vic auditorium on Thursday 15 June at 5pm.

Old Vic Theatre Evacuated Following Security Alert

According to The Independent, London's Old Vic Theatre, currently home to WOYZECK starring Star Wars' John Boyega, was evacuated on May 27th due to a possible security threat.

2017 JMK Award Winners Announced

The Trustees of the JMK Trust are delighted to announce today that the winner of the 20th anniversary James Menzies-Kitchin Young Director Award is Josh Roche. Chosen after the now-legendary JMK selection process from another record-breaking number of applicants, Josh will be directing My Name is Rachel Corrie, the celebrated piece of verbatim theatre created from the writings of Corrie herself and co-edited by the late Alan Rickman and Katherine Viner. His production will be staged in the autumn at the Young Vic, with performance dates announced soon. The runner up this year was Nathan Crossan-Smith with a proposal for a production of Debbie Tucker-Green's random and will receive a £2,000 award.

One of the most influential plays ever written, Thorne creates for our time what Buchner intended for his: an unforgettable howl of rage.
