As part of its autumn season, Fringe First winner Katie Bonna will be bringing ALL THE THINGS I LIED ABOUT to Tron Theatre this September following two great runs at Soho Theatre and Paines Plough Roundabout in Edinburgh 2016. The production will play Friday, 22 September & Saturday, 23 September 2017.

Directed by Joe Murphy, ALL THE THINGS I LIED ABOUT is a hilarious and candid one woman show for the post-truth era. Prepare for a raw and unflinching evening of self-deconstruction which asks; would the world be a better place if we were all honest?

Katie is giving a TED talk on the science of lying. Well, that's not quite true. TED haven't quite actually asked her to do one - yet... In an unmissable whistle-stop tour of her past mistakes Katie unpicks her history to confront humanity's obsession with fibs. How can everyday lies snowball, leading to a world of Trump and Brexit?

Katie Bonna: "The play is very personal and I struggled with that whilst writing, mainly questioning - 'Should I write about real people like this?' 'Am I being self-indulgent exploring something so personal to me?' 'How can I make this universal?' and also feeling scared to confront a lot of the feelings that surfaced whilst creating it. I'm proud of it now, though"

Katie Bonna's Dirty Great Love Story, co-written and performed with Richard Marsh, won a Fringe First in 2012, and Katie was also nominated for Best Actress by The Stage.
