The 4th annual Imagine This Women's International Film Festival (ITWIFF), unveiled its 2019 official lineup. This year's festival includes a happy hour, screenings, screenplay competition, networking parties, and a Seed & Spark Pitch workshop. ITWIFF will take place from November 7-10th, 2019, at Firelight Studios, Alamo Drafthouse, and UnionDocs in Brooklyn, NY.

BWW Review: THE RIVER at BoHo Theatre

In THE RIVER, Tony Award-winning playwright Jez Butterworth spins an atmospheric tale with as many twists and turns as its namesake. Following its 2012 premiere in London and subsequent Broadway run, Jerrell L. Henderson directs the Chicago premiere by BoHo Theatre, now a resident company at the Greenhouse Theater Center.

Cast Announced For BoHo's THE RIVER Opening June 15

BoHo Theatre continues its 2019 season with THE RIVER, a haunting and complex new play by playwright Jez Butterworth, directed by Jerrell L. Henderson. THE RIVER was called "a magnetically eerie, luminously beautiful psychodrama" by TIME OUT LONDON.  Henderson's cast will include Joe Lino as Man, Christina Gorman as Woman, Chelsee Carter as Other Woman. THE RIVER will be staged at the Greenhouse Theater Center and will open to the press on Saturday, June 15, following previews from June 8.

The New Colony, under the new artistic leadership of Fin Coe* and Stephanie Shum*, is pleased to continue its 2018-19 season with the world premiere of SMALL WORLD, a twisted comedy in the happiest place on earth, co-written by Jillian Leff and Joe Lino and directed by Andrew Hobgood*, playing March 27 - May 4, 2019 at TNC's resident home, The Den Theatre's Upstairs Main Stage, 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood. Tickets are currently available at at www.thenewcolony.org. The press opening is Monday, April 1 at 7:30 pm.
