A forward-thinking charity committed to shaping the future lives and training of young dancers, NYCDAF presents a lustrous line-up of dance makers and guest performances-Andy Pellick, BalletNext, led by prima ballerina Michele Wiles, Mark Stuart Dance Theatre, The Chase Brock Experience, and more. Former NYCB principal dancer and TONY nominee, Robert Fairchild will be on hand to present a number of college scholarships in the spirit of the evening's program.

ADM21 has joined forces with the NYC Dance Alliance Foundation to present this year's Awards. Atkins, Lanteri along with Patricia Watt are the Executive Producers of the Chita Rivera Awards.

Works & Process at the Guggenheim announces the World Premiere of Works & Process Rotunda Project: Daniil Simkin Falls the Shadow with choreography by Alejandro Cerrudo
The New York City Dance Alliance Foundation (NYCDAF), a forward-thinking charity committed to shaping the future lives and training of young dancers, returns to NYU Skirball Center, October 1, for an eclectic and star-studded gala event to raise funds for college scholarships. With over 200 dancers sharing in $2 Million dollars to attend the colleges of their choice since the Foundation's inception in 2010, NYCDAF's Annual 'Bright Lights Shining Stars' brings together performers and dance educators to further its mission to broaden and advocate for performing arts awareness and training. The evening's presenters include Joel Grey (Cabaret, Chicago, Goodtime Charley), Bebe Neuwirth (Sweet Charity, Chicago) and Patricia Birch (Over Here!)-more appearances to be announced.
The NYC Dance Alliance Foundation (NYCDAF), a forward-thinking charity committed to shaping the future lives and training of young dancers, celebrated fireworks of their own on July 3, at the organization's 23rd Annual National Finale. An applicant pool of over 200 young dancers, seeking scholarship funds for further education, participated in a National College Audition at the Sheraton New York Hotel, nestled in the heart of Times Square. The audition consisted of a ballet class taught by New York City Balle tPrincipal Ballerina Tiler Peck, and a contemporary class taught by Martha Graham Principal Dancer Lloyd Knight. NYCDAF awarded a total of $275K to 30 recent High School graduates, already committed to a college program from September 2017.

Victory Dance Project, under the Artistic Direction of Amy Jordan, will celebrate its third anniversary with three performances, running June 15 - 18 at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center. The season will open with a Celebration honoring Broadway legend Chita Rivera, who will be presented with the company's "Woman of Valor Award." The program, entitled From This Movement On will also include a world premiere choreographed by Jordan, as well pieces from the company's repertory.
Amy Jordan's training and career spans three decades of study and performances in New York, Los Angeles and Miami. She has studied classical ballet, jazz, modern dance and hip-hop with acclaimed choreographers Michael Peters, Michael Rooney, Joe Lanteri and many others.
