Insight Theatre Company opens its 11th season with a comedy/drama written by Joe DiPietro and directed by Alan Knoll.  The Last Romance is about an opera-loving American in his 70s who once auditioned for the Met.  Currently widowed, he meets an attractive woman named Carol while living with his sister Rose.  This humorous and tender play will leave audiences of all ages with the idea that it is never too late to feel alive!  Stars Joneal Joplin, Maggie Ryan, Tommy Nolan. 

George Street Playhouse, located at 103 College Farm Road in New Brunswick, today announced the casting of Philip Goodwin (Broadway's The Diary of Anne Frank, The School for Scandal) and Carly Zien (Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, POP TV's Nightcap) in Trying by Joanna McClelland Glass, on stage March 13 - April 8, 2018. The poignant drama will be directed by Jim Jack, who will be helming his second GSP mainstage production following the widely acclaimed 2016 production of My Name is Asher Lev.

The inventive musical adventure ERNEST SHACKLETON LOVES ME tells the story of a single mom who is struggling to balance her familial obligations and her work as a video game composer. One sleepless night, she posts a dating video and gets a response from famed 20th century polar explorer Ernest Shackleton. What follows is an odyssey of virtuosic electro-violin performance from Val Vigoda and Wade McCollum's charismatic and lush vocals.

La Jolla Playhouse announces Hundred Days, book by The Bengsons and Sarah Gancher, music and lyrics by The Bengsons, directed by Anne Kauffman, and movement direction by Sonya Tayeh, as the final production of its 2018/2019 season, to run September 22 - October 21 in the Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Forum.

Nominated for the Outer Critics Circle Award as Outstanding Off-Broadway musical in 1997, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is a musical comedy with book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts. Directed and Produced by Brian Remo and Jessica Foerst (If/Then, Hamlet), and Musically Directed by Alex Golden, this hilarious show is a favorite for couples and singles of all ages. This run of theatrical performances will be held March 2 - 11 at the Union County Performing Arts Center's Hamilton Stage.

Theatre Three Artistic Director Jeffrey Schmidt has announced details about its upcoming all-star fundraising performance of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. On Valentine's Day evening, Wednesday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m., the long-running Theatre Three production will move upstairs to the Norma Young Arena Stage for a one-night-only performance featuring returning cast members from all eighteen previous productions. Due to not being able to secure the needed actors for the required roles in Ahrens and Flaherty's DESSA ROSE, Spotlighters has canceled that production.  In it's place, the theatre will be producing, Joe DiPietro's musical comedy:  I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE.

After 18 years, a Dallas theatre staple is coming to an end of its time. For nearly 2 decades, Theatre 3 has presented Joe Dipietro and Jimmy Roberts' musical revue I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change in what had become a Dallas tradition. Though I am personally not a fan of the book of the show, or musical revues in general, this earnest production in the heart of Uptown clearly has earned its place.
