The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts today announced new events and artists for the opening weekend community celebration of Steinmetz Hall, an acoustically remarkable theater that completes the original design for the arts center.
24/6: A Jewish Theater Company, New York's first ensemble dedicated to Sabbath-observant artists, will present Ken Kaissar's brand new play Looking Through Glass, an original commission by 24/6, developed in collaboration with the playwright. This production celebrates 24/6's 7th Anniversary.

Former Saturday Night Live and Comedy Central star Colin Quinn, who earlier this year enjoyed the successful Broadway run of his one-man show, Long Story Short, directed by Jerry Seinfeld, will now headline the holiday shows for the weekly "COMEDY AT CHA CHA'S" in Little Italy. Colin Quinn, along with co-headliner Bob Levy and host James "Jackpot" Napodano, will perform on Thursday, December 22nd at 9pm and Friday, December 23rd at 11:45pm, at Cha Cha's Cafe at 113 Mulberry Street in Little Italy.
