Bergen County Players, the pre-eminent community theatre organization in New Jersey, located at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell, and winner of NJACT's 2015 Theatre of the Year, presents "The Irish Curse", written by Martin Casella and directed by Ray Yucis, for a limited run on February 27th at 2 pm and 28th at 7 pm. The February 27th performance is already sold out and fewer than 25 seats remain for the performance on February 28th.

The Bergen County Players presents 'Getting Away With Murder' - a comedy thriller written by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth. Under the direction of Ellyn Essig, 'Getting Away With Murder' will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell from Saturday, October 24th through Saturday, November 14th. The curtain for Friday and Saturday performances will rise at 8 pm with Sunday matinees at 2 pm. Celebrating 82 Years, The Bergen County Players (BCP) presents Bell, Book and Candle. In a nutshell: Girl meets Boy. Girl loses Boy. Girl gets Boy. Sure, that's a classic plot device, but what's so special about it? Well, how about because the girl is a witch and the boy is a mortal? Sound familiar? It should, because this magical rom-com, which originally starred Rex Harrison on Broadway and then Jimmy Stewart and Kim Novak in the popular film, eventually became the genesis of television's memorable comedy "Bewitched".

The Players Guild of Leonia presents two comedies by Christopher Durang and directed by Carol Fisher - Miss Witherspoon and The Actor's Nightmare. In these earlier plays by this 2013 Tony award winning playwright, (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike), the humor in life is on full display.
