The Mystic Museum of Art (MMoA) is fortunate to have significant holdings in its permanent collection. The collection includes artwork by the institution's founding members and artists that also played a role in MMoA's development from Art Association to Art Center. Works by Charles Davis, Ward Ranger, Harve Stein, and Yngve Soderberg constitute the core of their collections. Local contemporary artists like Dan Truth, Charles Chu, and Sarah Stifler Lucas may also be found in the collection.

Long Island audiences have the opportunity to take in Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley's 'Prodigal Son' in the heart of Lindenhurst this weekend, where it runs at BACCA (Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts BACCA). 

The Wizard of Oz is now playing at the Family Performing Arts Center in residence at Bridgewater State University. The cast is helmed by FPAC crowd favorites, Jim Quinn (FPAC's The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Seussical) as the Cowardly Lion and Katia Greene (FPAC's Once Upon a Mattress, Beauty & the Beast, Seussical) as The Wicked Witch of the West.
