Urban Stages Founding Artistic Director Frances Hill and producer Peter Napolitano present the World Premiere of Character Man as part of its 30th Anniversary season. Jim Brochu's new musical memoir begins an Off-Broadway run at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street) February 28th, with opening night set for Wednesday March 5th. This limited run will continue through March 30th only. Robert Bartley directs, with musical direction by Carl Haan. Character Man will have scenic & video design by Patrick Brennan, lighting design by Meghan Santelli and sound design by Sean Hagerty.

After a wildly successful extended run last spring, Urban Stages will remount their production of Greg Kalleres' biting comedy HONKY. Directed by Luke Harlan, HONKY will begin its performances on October 22 and open on Sunday, October 27 through November 17, 2013 at Urban Stages (259 West 30 Street).

Join us in celebrating National Geographic's 125th anniversary with the world premiere of the play BELL. Written by veteran journalist, author, and playwright-yes, playwright-Jim Lehrer, starring celebrated Washington actor Rick Foucheux, and directed by Jeremy Skidmore, this one-man play reveals the extraordinary life of Alexander Graham Bell. The production will open at National Geographic headquarters tonight, September 12, and will run through Saturday, September 21.

Heard, Laura Lindsey, Heather Nielsen , Liz Parker, Meghan Santelli, Kathryn Swanson and J Lyn Thomas, tonight, May 13, 2013 at the historic Central Park Boathouse beginning at 6PM.

An iconic trio of music, news and sports broadcasting legends will be honored on Thursday, May 9, at WFUV Radio's Annual Gala 2013.

Upright Citizen Brigade presents The 2017 Tony Awardz, a musical parody by Stephanie Streisand and Rocco Privetera. Evan Greenspoon directs a cast of seven including Stephanie Streisand, Michael Hartney, Richard "Big Rich" Armstead, Adam Bozarth, Caroline Cotter, Matthew Frazier, and Douglas Widick. The 2017 Tony Awardz will run at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, 307 West 26th Street, in New York City tonight, December 17th at 9:30pm.
