Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF presents A Christmas Carol from December 3-28, 2014. Directed by Michael Carleton (Dracula: The Journal of Jonathan Harker and The Tempest), with musical direction from Steve MacKinnon (A Night in New Orleans: A Magic Tree House Adventure and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs), Artistic Director Jim Helsinger's adaptation of Dickens' classic story comes to life on the Margeson Theater Stage. Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF dares audiences to take a risk on new plays at PlayFest from this weekend, November 1 - 3, 2014. Presented by Harriett's Charitable Trust, the fast-paced weekend is packed with lively discussions, engaging playwright panels, and new play readings, along with a keynote speech from playwright Mark St. Germain. This season's event marks the twelfth festival of new plays at the Theater.

For the ninth straight year, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company will offer a full season of holiday cheer in just 90 minutes with 'Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)' by Michael Carleton, James Fitzgerald, and John K. Alvarez. This hilarious production is a non-stop holiday romp through everyone's favorite Christmas stories performed by just four actors in ninety minutes. Justin McCombs and Sara Clark, both now ninth year veterans of the company, return to poke fun at the holiday season, joined by Billy Chace, an eighth year company member. Miranda McGee, fifth year company member, returns as a special guest. CSC Artistic Associate, Jeremy Dubin, returns to the director's chair. This production is one of the most popular events in Cincinnati Shakespeare Company history breaking attendance and sales records every year. Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF has announced that Broadway star Davis Gaines will be featured in its Fall 2014 production of LES MISERABLES. Best known for playing the title role in The Phantom of the Opera more than 2,000 times in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, Gaines will join the Orlando Shakes cast as Police Inspector Javert. Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF has announced partial casting for LES MISERABLES.

The wildly hilarious Tony-Award winning comedy Lend Me a Tenor opens tonight, July 11 at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. Running in repertory with Shakespeare's Macbeth, the production continues through August 3 in the PSF Main Stage theatre on the campus of DeSales University.
