It Happened in Key West, a major new romantic comedy musical by award-winning Broadway composer Jill Santoriello (A Tale of Two Cities) novelist Jason Huza and Jeremiah James, a member of international recording group Teatro, is to get its world premiere at London's Charing Cross Theatre in a strictly limited seven-week season from Thursday 4 July - Saturday 22 September.

Jeremiah James is an actor, writer, and producer who has worked in New York, LA, London, and many other cities. He's the lead producer of It Happened in Key West, as well as coming up with the original concept and writing the book for this quirky musical based on the true story of an eccentric scientist in 1930s Florida, who went to extreme lengths to keep the woman he loved.

Based on the stories and characters by Damon Runyon, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, the show tops Entertainment Weekly's list of "The Greatest Musical of all Time." A TALE OF TWO CITIES, the 2008 Broadway musical currently playing at Centerpoint Legacy Theatre, is redemptive and uplifting as it weaves a tale full of memorable characters. The storytelling and dialogue are sharp, and the score is complex and often achingly beautiful.
