Mosaic Theater Company of DC is proud to announce its compelling 2022/23 season, the first season selected and planned by Mosaic’s new Artistic Director, Reginald L. Douglas.

Theater J has announced Theater J’s 32nd season, which includes five plays and a bonus return engagement of a musical masterpiece.

InterAct Theatre Company continues its 2021-2022 season with  SETTLEMENTS, a “world premiere” play by InterAct's founding Producing Artistic Director, Seth Rozin. SETTLEMENTS marks InterAct's 3rd live, in-person production since returning from the pandemic shutdown, following on the heels of its critically acclaimed THIS BITTER EARTH in February 2022. 

The Richmond County Orchestra performs 'Strike up the Band,' a concert in celebration of Jewish Music Month on Sunday, March 27th at 3 pm featuring singer-songwriter Ryan Berkowitz, pianist Olga Gurevich, child soprano Adeline Cherny, Anita Berger with the St Cecelia singers  and with Maestro Alan Aurelia conducting the Richmond County Orchestra.  

Milwaukee Chamber Theatre has announced full casting and production details for INDECENT by Paula Vogel directed by MCT's Artistic Director Brent Hazelton.

As part of JDAIM 2022 programming (Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance and Inclusion Month) The Jewish Community Center of Metro Detroit's Opening the Doors Program will present the virtual event Changing The Norm – Celebrating the Beauty of Different Abilities on Monday, February 28th at 7:00pm ET.

YI Love Jewish will present their next installment in the YI Love Play Reading Series: 'The Lincoln Continental' by Kathy Kafer. The reading will be presented by The Miami Beach Jewish Community Center at the Galbut Family Miami Beach JCC Simkins Family Campus (4221 Pine Tree Dr, Miami Beach, FL, 33140).

Tickets are now available for J Stage Theatre's winter production of The Waverly Gallery. All performances will take place at the J Stage Theatre at the Maureen and Douglas Cohn Jewish Community Center, 13009 Community Campus Drive, Tampa. The show opens on Wednesday, January 26 at 7:00 PM and runs through Sunday, January 30.

YI Love Jewish will present the next show in the YI Love Play Reading Series: 'The Gospel According to Jerry' by Richard Krevolin and Irwin Kula. The reading will be presented by The Mandel Jewish Community Center (5221 Hood Rd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418).

For the delight of audiences aged 5 to 105, Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave., will present Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre (CAMT) in 'A Christmas Carol, Oy! Hanukkah, Merry Kwanzaa' from December 22 to January 2. The show is an adaptation of Dickens' classic with Old World accents and New World inclusiveness.

THE WORKSHOP  today announced its inaugural cohort of 2021-22 fellows for the first-of-its-kind arts fellowship to support, nurture and develop professional artists and culture-makers who identify as JOCISM (Jews of Color, Jews of Indigenous backgrounds, and Jews of Sephardic and/or Mizrahi heritage).

Brandeis University sociology professor Morris S. Schwartz inspired millions with his lessons on life and loving in Mitch Albom's breakout memoir, Tuesdays with Morrie, which has been adapted for the stage by Albom and playwright and screenwriter Jeffrey Hatcher (Stage Beauty and Columbo) and will appear as the second play in Theater J's 2021-2022 season.

Milwaukee Chamber Theatre announce full casting and production details for STEW by Zora Howard, a 2021 Pulitzer Prize Finalist play and Milwaukee Premiere.

As part of the annual Fringe Festival, Rochester's Jewish Community Center presented 'Love Letters', the popular 1988 two-person play by A. R. Gurney that follows two friends throughout the course of their lives told solely through the reading of letters that they wrote each other over the years. The show, known for its simplicity and emotional breadth, provides a quiet and sensitive alternative to other programming at the Fringe Festival, which is known as a home for alternative and avant-garde performing arts.

It was exactly a year ago that the newly formed professional non-profit Nicely Theatre Group (NTG) was slated to premiere its inaugural show with the musical Pippin. And we all know what happened last year to live theatre productions...
