Last night, June 19, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON alum Benjamin Walker visited The Late Show with David Letterman to promote his new film, ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER. The thriller is set to open in theaters on June 22nd from 20th Century Fox. The film, directed by Timur Bekmambetov, also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Dominic Cooper, Rufus Sewell, Alan Tudyk, Anthony Mackie, Jimmi Simpson, Jaqueline Fleming and Robin McLeavy.

MCC THEATER (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, William Cantler, Artistic Directors; Blake West, Executive Director) today announced that Jon Bernthal (AMC's "The Walking Dead") and actor/playwright John Pollono will star in the New York Premiere of Small Engine Repair, by John Pollono, directed by Jo Bonney (Neil LaBute's The Break of Noon, Some Girl(s), Fat Pig). The production will be the third and final production of MCC's 2012-13 three-play mainstage season, which marks the company's 27th consecutive year producing and developing new work by today's most provocative and vibrant artists. Small Engine Repair will be performed at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) May 16 - June 23, 2013.

FORBIDDEN BROADWAY Is 'Alive & Kicking'; Returns to NYC this Fall with New Edition; Previews Begin July 24th

After a three-year absence, Gerard Alessandrini's FORBIDDEN BROADWAY returns to the 47th Street Theatre with a brand new edition, FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: ALIVE AND KICKING. The show, which opens Thursday, September 6, will run for a limited engagement through January 6, 2013. Previews begin on July 24th. This production will mark FORBIDDEN BROADWAY's 30th Anniversary, as well as its 21st edition.

Does ROMAN HOLIDAY Have A Future Home on Broadway?

Currently onstage at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis is the period musical spectacular Roman Holiday. Based on the iconic film, the show features the music of Cole Porter, including hits like 'Easy to Love,' 'Begin the Beguine,' 'Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye' and 'Riding High', in addition to rarely heard gems that fit perfectly into the story. The production began preview performances on June 9 and opens tonight, June 15. The run is scheduled to continue through August 19 on the McGuire Proscenium Stage. Guthrie Artistic Producing Artistic Director John Miller-Stephany helms.

End of the Rainbow starring two-time Olivier Award-winner and Tony Award-nominee Tracie Bennett as Judy Garland, has put a new block of tickets on sale through January 6, 2013. The production is directed by Tony Award-winner Terry Johnson, and festuring music by Peter Quilter.
