Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Jake Epstein, who originated the role of Gerry Goffin on Broadway in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, will return to the role on September 22, 2016.

Wynn's talent runs in the family, as she's the 5th showbiz generation in a line that includes Ed 'The Perfect Fool' Wynn and Hollywood's Keenan Wynn.

The Carole King Musical celebrated 1,000 performances on Broadway yesterday, becoming the longest running show to play at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (formally known as the Henry Miller Theatre).

The first annual Broadway Bee, featuring Paige Davis (Chicago), Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland), Tony winner Christian Borle (Something Rotten), and Jose Llana (The King and I) took place just last night at The Cutting Room (44 E. 32nd St). Proceeds benefit Broadway Bound Kids, a NYC performing arts education organization. Ten teams, each representing a Broadway show, were encouraged to pull out all the stops to correctly spell the words. The more funds each team raised, the more they were allowed to cheat!

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Ben Jacoby, previously seen in the US Tour of Phantom of the Opera, will step into the role of 'Barry Mann' in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, beginning the week of February 29, 2016. Jacoby will take over for Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector, whose last performance is scheduled for Sunday, February 28, 2016. Beautiful - The Carole King Musical plays at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street).

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present stage and screen star Erich Bergen ('Madam Secretary,' 'Jersey Boys'), who joined forces with American jazz pianist Angelo Di Loreto in concert on Sunday and Monday, December 27 and 28. Bergen, Di Loreto and bassist Ethan O'Reilly performed an intimate evening of songs from the Great American Songbook, as well as some classics of 20th Century pop music. A slew of Broadway performers are set for the next installment of the 'Broadway Sings' concert series honoring Sara Bareilles. A cast of 20 Broadway stars will sing completely new arrangements of the singer-songwriter's greatest hits, including cast members from the pre-Broadway run of Bareilles' musical Waitress at American Repertory Theatre. The performers will be accompanied by a string orchestra playing original orchestrations, tonight, November 2, at the Highline Ballroom.
