Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing welcome back Jake Epstein, who originated the role of Gerry Goffin on Broadway in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, returning to the role tonight, September 22, 2016.

The Carole King Musical celebrated 1,000 performances on Broadway yesterday, becoming the longest running show to play at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (formally known as the Henry Miller Theatre).

The first annual Broadway Bee, featuring Paige Davis (Chicago), Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland), Tony winner Christian Borle (Something Rotten), and Jose Llana (The King and I) took place just last night at The Cutting Room (44 E. 32nd St). Proceeds benefit Broadway Bound Kids, a NYC performing arts education organization. Ten teams, each representing a Broadway show, were encouraged to pull out all the stops to correctly spell the words. The more funds each team raised, the more they were allowed to cheat!

TV Land has ordered a pilot script for HEATHERS, an anthology dark comedy series based on the cult film.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Ben Jacoby, previously seen in the US Tour of Phantom of the Opera, will step into the role of 'Barry Mann' in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, beginning the week of February 29, 2016. Jacoby will take over for Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector, whose last performance is scheduled for Sunday, February 28, 2016. Beautiful - The Carole King Musical plays at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street).

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present stage and screen star Erich Bergen ('Madam Secretary,' 'Jersey Boys'), who joined forces with American jazz pianist Angelo Di Loreto in concert on Sunday and Monday, December 27 and 28. Bergen, Di Loreto and bassist Ethan O'Reilly performed an intimate evening of songs from the Great American Songbook, as well as some classics of 20th Century pop music. Haul out the holly and put up the tree because Scott Nevins (one of the breakout stars of Bravo TV's hit show The People's Couch) just brought his star-studded holiday benefit SPARKLE: An All-Star Holiday Concert back to NYC for the 4rd year in a row! Featuring another high wattage, star power cast of performers from the worlds of Broadway, television, film and the music industry, this one night only extravaganza took place at The Cutting Room and will benefit the programs and services of The Actors Fund (www.actorsfund.org).
