Broadway legend Andrew Lloyd Webber has announced his high-octane Broadway and West End hit School of Rock - The Musical will launch a US National Tour in Rochester, NY, at RBTL's Auditorium Theatre in September 2017.

Hand-picked by producer and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, newcomers Justin Collette and Conner John Gillooly will join the cast of School of Rock - The Musical in the role of failed, wannabe rocker, Dewey Finn.

Saint Michael's Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Chuck Tobin today announced the July 19 opening of the Off-Broadway hit Murder for Two at Saint Michael's Playhouse. Murder for Two features book and music by Joe Kinosian, book and lyrics by Kellen Blair and stars Noel Carey and Jeremiah Ginn, both from Murder for Two's national tour. Murder for Two creative team is led by director Jeremy Scott Lapp with choreography by Wendy Seyb, scenic design by John Paul Devlin, costume design by Andrea Lauer, lighting design Anthony Pellecchia, and sound design by Jill BC DuBoff.

Rocking their way to Broadway will be Zachary Zwelling as 'Zack' the guitarist, Levi Buksbazen as 'Freddy' the drummer, John Allyn as 'Billy' the stylist, Gabrielle Greene as 'Shonelle' the back-up singer, and Cory Leventhal as 'James.'

Following news that two major sponsors, Delta Air Lines and Bank of America, had pulled financial support for The Public Theater in response to their Donald Trump-Themed Shakespeare in the Park production of JULIUS CAESAR, New Yorkers showed their support of the Public with a rally, that took place yesterday evening at Astor Place.

The award for best play carries a cash prize of $2,500. The prize is made possible by a grant from the Lucille Lortel Foundation.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's Broadway smash hit School of Rock - The Musical has recouped its entire investment on Broadway, making the show an undisputed hit simultaneously on Broadway and the West End.

The awards include a cash prize of $2,500 for Best Play, made possible by a grant from the Lucille Lortel Foundation. The awards will be presented at a private cocktail reception on Thursday, May 18.

The winners of the 2017 New York Drama Critics' Circle Awards will be announced Monday, May 8, 2017 at approximately 5:30pm. The selections will be made at the organization's 82nd annual voting meeting.
