Andrew Lloyd Webber's smash hit musical School of Rock - The Musical celebrates one year on Broadway, today, Tuesday, December 6, 2016. The musical began preview performances at the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway) on November 9, 2015 and officially opened, to rave reviews, on December 6, 2015.

At long last, Nick Kroll and John Mulaney's wildly popular alter egos, Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland, will make their debuts on The Great White Way as Oh, Hello officially opens on Broadway tonight! School of Rock - The Musical will host the Shubert Foundation High School Theatre Festival for New York City Public Schools on Monday, March 7 at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre.  Alex Brightman, star of School of Rock - The Musical, will emcee the event, Chancellor Carmen Farina, of the New York City Department of Education, will welcome the crowd and introduce the Shubert Organization's Chairman Philip J. Smith and President Robert E. Wankel.  Shubert Foundation President Michael I. Sovern will introduce Brightman.

Oakland School for the Arts in Oakland, California will present the world premiere amateur youth production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's newest Broadway smash hit, School of Rock - The Musical, as the hit musical continues its professional Broadway run at the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway) in New York City.  In an unprecedented move, Lloyd Webber teamed up with R&H Theatricals prior to the show's Broadway opening on November 6, 2015 to make youth performance rights available to schools and youth theatres across the U.S. and Canada. In an exciting move, producer (and Oakland School of the Arts supporter) Carole Shorenstein Hays has invited OSA to present their musical on the historic stage of the Curran (where The Phantom of the Opera played for five record-breaking years) March 3 - 12, 2016.
