The New School enters its second season September 19 and meets throughout the year until April on Monday nights. The students are in two age groups, and all of them had to either be interviewed by Jesse Cline, Artistic Director or audition to become a part of the intense two-semester process.

Sue Serio, the good-natured morning anchor on FOX-TV's 'Good Day Philadelphia', returns as the emcee of The Media Theatre's 'Delco Idol' contest for the second summer. The popular vocal competition takes place Wednesday nights at 7pm July 6 to August 3.

Jason Robert Brown's intimate musical 'The Last Five Years' will close at The Media Theatre February 27. The one act show tells the story of an aspiring actress who meets and falls in love with a novelist. At The Media Theatre, Jennie Eisenhower portrays Cathy, the aspiring actress. Wallingford's Marcus Stevens takes on the role of the novelist, Jamie.

Her first Barrymore Award was for her performance as Kate in Andrew Lippa's 'The Wild Party' produced in 2005 at The Media Theatre. Sykes Extends as 'Hannigan' in Media Theatre's ANNIE

Wanda Sykes is currently leading the Media Theatre's production of ANNIE as 'Miss Hannigan' - the iconic child-hating orphanage director with an affinity for alcoholic beverages - this holiday season. Sykes opened the production on November 23 and had been scheduled to close the production on January 16, 2011 following a Christmas absence. The Media Theatre has just announced that Sykes will now be extending her run through January 23, 2011. Click here for the official announcement on the Media site.
