Camp Media Theatre is gearing up for summer 2012 with five two-week sessions focusing on acting, vocal music, and choreography. The music theatre camp begins June 18.

P. Brendan Mulvey, who has appeared in The Media Theatre's Titanic and Show Boat, will be given the Walter M. Strine Award at the theatre's annual Gala on Saturday evening, February 25. The annual award, named after the entrepreneur who revitalized the theatre in 1994 so that a professional music theatre would be a cornerstone of Media borough, will be given to Mulvey prior to the celebratory evening's concert by legendary Tony nominee Andrea McArdle. The honor is given to an individual who keeps the spirit of Mr. Strine alive with their consistent support and advocacy of The Media Theatre.
