Musical Theater Heritage (MTH THEATER) is presenting 13 performances of 'A SPECTACULAR CHRISTMAS SHOW' their annual holiday concert now in its 9th year, featuring spectacular vocal arrangements and Christmas stories designed to bring out the holiday spirit in everyone.

This high-spirited show sponsored by Biker Bob's Harley Davidson of Taylor will take you down memory lane with some of the sixties most popular hits including, Chapel of Love,' 'Da Do Ron Ron,' 'Be My Baby,' 'Hanky Panky,' Do Wah Diddy,' 'And Then He Kissed Me' and, of course, the title song 'Leader of the Pack.' Some of the most talented young adults in the downriver area will grace the stage to bring this story to life.

The 2015-2016 School of Theatre Season will close with Henrik Ibsen's infamous Hedda Gabler, directed by Fred Chappell. One of the world's most famous literary heroines, aristocrat Hedda pushes the boundaries of what she can convince others to do in the name of love and shows the world that love, in the wrong hands, can result in greatness and in catastrophe. Hedda Gabler is playing in the Lab Theatre March 25-April 3.

MR. BURNS, A POST-ELECTRIC PLAY by Anne Washburn, featuring a score by Michael Friedman with lyrics by Anne Washburn, will be directed by Theodore Swetz and co-produced with UMKC Theatre at Unicorn Theatre this December.

Mr. Burns, a post-electric play asks us to imagine what will happen to humanity after the apocalypse. This imaginative dark comedy follows a new civilization of survivors as they band together to build a community from the rubble of the world we now know. Jump into a wild future where The Simpsonsand the pop culture of today becomes the mythology of tomorrow in this unexpected, musical love-letter to the power of live theatre.
