The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica presents Our Country co-created by Becca Wolff and Annie Saunders, and directed by Becca Wolff with original writing by Saunders and devising by the company.  Our Country will be performed on Saturday, November 9 at 4pm and 8pm, and Sunday, November 10 at 2pm.

Want the Moon is an emerging company set up in 2017 by graduates of the University of Leeds. Since then, we've produced work performed at festivals and venues all over the UK. We are strong advocates of new writing, and we believe in creating pieces that will shock and intrigue an audience. We love theatre that defies conventions; particularly dark, modernist works by playwrights who explore overlooked areas of humanity. Our debut production, 'Other People's Teeth', was performed at Brighton Fringe, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and Playmill 18 at the King's Head Theatre. The show explored violence and morality through the eyes of a hit-woman, and received a number of 4 star reviews.

Today, Cardiff's pub theatre The Other Room, located in Porter's and winner of The Stage's Fringe Theatre of the Year Award 2016, announces its Autumn/Winter 2018 season. Curated and programmed by The Other Room, the season features: a brand new play by Matthew Bulgo; touring productions from In Bed With My Brother, Rive Productions, and the Bush Theatre and Antler; a full production of Chippy Lane Productions scratch night winner Cardiff Boyby Kevin Jones; and a Christmas show from Big Loop Theatre Company.

Drawing on sources from Greek tragedy and classic Westerns, including personal recordings and re-enactments of childhood memories, Our Country takes the life story of two siblings as a starting point to understanding the issues dividing the U.S today.
