Following sold-out runs at Stage 72 (158 West 72nd Street), The Bijou Theatre, and Barrington Stage Company (Mr. Finn's Cabaret Series) the incredibly talented and inspirational Amy Oestreicher will bring her hit one-woman musical Gutless & Grateful back to NYC as part of the United Solo Festival with a performance on October 11th at 4pm.

Amy Oestreicher's near death experience and unique personal story are woven into a moving and entertaining evening of song, as she takes her audience on a musical journey that highlights the triumphs and humor in life. Route 66, a musical romantic comedy, opens tonight, June 28, at the Depot Theatre in Wesport, NY. The show features Book by Jerold Goldstein & William Squier, Music by Lyrics by Fred Stark William Squier and Musical Direction by Adam Michael Tilford, with direction and choreography by Stephen Nachmie.

In this moving and entertaining evening of song, performer Amy Oestreicher weaves her near death experience and unique personal story with an eclectic set of songs, highlighting the disappointments, struggles, triumphs and humor in her life. It will also have two performances in CT at the Bijou Theatre on 6/1 at 8pm and 6/2 at 2pm and a special one-night performance at the Barrington Stage Company in Massachusetts on 7/16 at 8pm as a part of Tony Award-winner William Finn's Cabaret Series.

Gutless & Grateful will also feature a new song written by Oestreicher herself, "Corner."

Casting has been completed for the Musical Mondays @ Curtain Call's Monday, February 22, presentation of "Buddy's Tavern," winner of the Stamford, CT, based theater's 2010 American Harmony Prize. Leading the cast in the title role is Michael Iannucci (Fiddler on the Roof), joined by Rebecca Barko (The Enchanted Cottage), Andrea Biachi (Being Audrey) and Alan H. Green (Play On), with Jerold Goldstein (How to Succeed), Piper Goodeve (Anne of Green Gables), Patti Mariano (42nd Street) , John Marion (The Enchanted Cottage) and Ted Yudain (The Ha Ha Club). Direction is by Brett A. Bernardini and music direction is by Bradley Vieth.
