Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway to Present TILLY THE TRICKSTER, 1/25-4/5

The Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway has been a part of The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, a leader in the region's theater community and one of the area's premiere entertainment venues, since 1996 when it opened with an original production of Sleep Beauty. That was the beginning of what would become one of the most popular family entertainment spots in Frederick. To this day, the Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway is the area's only children's lunch theater, offering a family-friendly meal before each show.

RSO FEST to Celebrate New Musicals by Ryan Scott Oliver at 54 Below, 10/7-11/18

Very Intense Productions and Your Theatrics | Jeremy Youett and Jacob Harvey present RSO FEST, a series of concerts showcasing three new musicals by composer Ryan Scott Oliver. RSO FEST will launch at New York's premier Supper Club, 54 Below (254 West 54th Street, NYC), today, October 7 with the 35mm: A Musical Exhibition (produced in association with Tony Award-winning producer John Johnson), followed by Darling (produced in association with Grammy Award-winner Kurt Deutsch and Sh-k-boom) today, November 4, and then Jasper In Deadland (produced in association with Prospect Theater Company) completing the trilogy today November 18.

Midtown Direct Rep to Present Reading of Kara Lee Corthron's LISTEN FOR THE LIGHT, 11/3

MIDTOWN DIRECT REP is pleased to announce a reading of Kara Lee Corthron's (Princess Grace Award-winner) Listen For The Light, directed by Amy Saltz (Almost Maine), as part of Midtown Direct Rep's play development series focuses on new and innovative American theatre: Theatre in the Loft. The performance will be Sunday, November 3rd, 2013 at 7 pm at SOPAC (One Sopac Way, South Orange, NJ, 07079). Rso Fest Continues With 'Darling: A Theatrical Concert' on Monday, November 4 At 54 Below

Very Intense Productions and Your Theatrics (Jeremy Youett and Jacob Harvey) will present Ryan Scott Oliver's Darling, at 54 Below (254 West 54th Street, New York, NY) on Monday, November 4 at 7:00 and 9:30 p.m. Darling is produced in association with Grammy Award winning Kurt Deutsch and Sh-k-boom, and is part of RSO Fest, a series of concerts showcasing the scores of three new musicals by composer Ryan Scott Oliver. RSO Fest launched at New York's premier Supper Club, 54 Below, on October 7 with 35mm: A Musical Exhibition (in association with Tony Award winning producer John Johnson and will conclude with Jasper in Deadland completing the trilogy on Monday, November 18 (produced in association with Prospect Theater Company).

Kelly Bishop to Lead Midtown Direct Rep's FROM UNDER THE TREE Staged Reading, 10/6

Following on the heels of MDR's successful development of Rated P (for parenthood), MDR's program, Theatre in the Loft, aims to do the same for other previously unseen material. MDR now presents monthly readings or workshops of new plays and musicals one Sunday night a month at 7 PM in the SOPAC loft. With a cash bar and post show discussions with the casts and creative teams, MDR fosters a fun and collaborative environment to nurture the development of top notch theatre right here at home.

ATLANTIC FOR KIDS presents the World Premiere of Molly Shannon's Tilly the Trickster, with Music and Lyrics by Drew Fornarola and Book by Jeremy Dobrish, Based on the book Tilly the Trickster by Molly Shannon. Tilly the Trickster by Molly Shannon was originally published by Abrams Books for Young Readers on September 1, 2011 and is available from major bookstores as well as online retailers.

Directed by Peter Flynn, the reading will take place tonight, Sunday, July 14th at 7:00PM. Admission: $15 Cover, Cash Bar, No Drink Minimum.

NYMF Announces Additional Concerts, Talkbacks & Workshops; Tickets Now On Sale

Completing the programming for the 10th annual New York Musical Theatre Festival, NYMF announced several additional concerts, a series of educational workshops, and a "Musicals on Television" screening series in partnership with the Paley Center for Media. This year's Festival will begin July 8th and continue through July 28th. Single tickets are currently on sale.

SIGNS OF LIFE Gets Staged Reading at American University Tonight

Snap-Two Productions, Inc. and LimanAde Productions in association with Issembert Productions, Inc. will present a staged reading of the new drama with music, Signs of Life, at American University in the Katzen Arts Center Studio Theatre tonight, June 1 at 7:00 P.M. and June 2 at 1:00 P.M. The performances will feature American University alumni, current students and a student from BRAVO@KAT, the children's wing of Kensington Arts Theatre. This is the first academic production of Signs of Life.
