Rated P for Parenthood will begin performances today, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 with Opening Night set for Wednesday, February 29th upstairs at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street).

Midtown Direct Rep will hold a fundraising event to benefit the company during the opening week of Rated P for Parenthood, it was announced today. The Special MDR Off-Broadway fundraiser ticket will include prime orchestra seats to the Friday, March 20th 8:00 p.m. performance, exclusive talk back with the cast and the creators of Rated P, and a champagne after-party coach ride back to SOPAC with members of the cast, Ms. Rustin, Mr. Dobrish and producers who all call South Orange/Maplewood home.

Following on the heels of a successful World Premiere at the South Orange Performing Arts Center in May, 2011, the new musical comedy Rated P for Parenthood Rated P will begin performances in New York on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 with Opening Night, which was previously set for February 26th, now scheduled for Wednesday, February 29th (**because a show like this only comes around every four years), upstairs at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street). This winter Matt Murphy Productions presents its fourth national tour of Virtually Me! (www.virtuallyme.org). Taking place at Wi-Fi High in Anywhere, USA, Virtually Me! is an entirely original, educational musical for today's blogging, emailing, Facebooking, IM'ing, and texting generation. Originally directed by Jeremy Dobrish, this touring production has been remounted by Gina Rattan, and features choreography by Wendy Seyb, music by Jeff Thomson, lyrics by Jordan Mann, and a book by Jeremy Desmon and Jeremy Dobrish.

Producers Andrew Asnes and Timothy Schmidt have announced the complete casting for the New York Premiere of the new musical comedy Rated P for Parenthood. This year's Festival attaracted over 650 people representing 300 organizations from around the country including Europe attending the eight new musicals that were presented. DATE OF A LIFETIME will play its final performance at McGinn/Cazale Theatre (2162 Broadway, 4th Floor, between 76-77 Street.) on Sunday, October 16.
