7½ Wondrous Act(s) of True Love is the new high-concept comedy by Kleban Prize-winning writer Jeremy Desmon about the epic lengths we go to for love. Tonight, June 3rd at 7PM, an industry reading will be held at Pearl Studios (500 Eighth Ave., 12th Floor), helmed by Rated P-director Jeremy Dobrish.

This is the fourth comedic collaboration between the two Jeremys, having teamed up previously for The Girl in the Frame at Goodspeed Musicals, I See London, I See France (The Underwear Musical) at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and Virtually Me, which toured with TheatreworksUSA.

The company of actors is led by Stephanie Kurtzuba (Billy Elliot, Mary Poppins) in the role of London Griffin, a quixotic housewife in search of epic romance of the play's title. Becca Ayers (The Addams Family, South Pacific), JOEL PEREZ (In The Heights, Stuck Elevator), Sandy Rustin (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change) and Melissa van Der Schyff (Bonnie and Clyde) round out the cast.

In this farcical romance of epic proportions, London ditches the 'burbs in a quest for the authentic, rapturous passion of late-night movie marathons. Along the way, she joins forces with an alliance of lost souls, including a lesbian dental hygienist, a lothario in a shipping crate and Hollywood actress Uma Thurman, all asking the same questions: How often does true love happen? And, who's keeping count?
