Beginning with its first preview tomorrow (Thursday, November 1), a limited number of balcony seats will be sold as rush tickets, priced at $29, to Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, the new play by Aaron Sorkin, directed by Bartlett Sher, and starring Jeff Daniels as Atticus Finch. Rush tickets will be limited to 2 per person and will only be available at the Shubert Theatre box office (225 West 44 Street) beginning at 10am on the day of the performance.

Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) concludes its Fall 2018 season on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 7:30pm with Quodlibet Ensemble: Music by Biber, Martynov + Sharlat at BAC's Jerome Robbins Theater (450 W. 37th Street). Quodlibet (Latin for 'whatever pleases') Ensemble is a string chamber orchestra of some of today's most sought-after musicians who come from top string quartets as well as period and new music groups. The Gish Prize Trust today announced that the inspired Music and Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Gustavo Dudamel, has been selected to receive the 25th annual Dorothy and Lillian Gish Prize in recognition of his ongoing achievements as a conductor and an advocate for music education. Established in 1994 through the will of legendary stage and screen actress Lillian Gish, known as the First Lady of Cinema, the Dorothy and Lillian Gish Prize is one of the most prestigious honors given to artists in the United States and bears one of the largest cash awards, currently valued at approximately $250,000.

Translated by Richard Nelson, Richard Pevear, and Larissa Volokhonsky, and directed by Nelson, UNCLE VANYA began performances on Friday, September 7 and was originally scheduled to run through October 14.

Raab) will officially open the New York premiere of Anton Chekhov's UNCLE VANYA, directed by Richard Nelson, on Sunday, September 16 at the Frederick Loewe Theater (E. 68th Street between Lexington and Park Ave). Translated by Richard Nelson, Richard Pevear, and Larissa Volokhonsky, this production marks the first time renowned Russian literature translators Pevear and Volokhonsky have had a work premiere in New York City, following its world premiere at The Old Globe in San Diego earlier this year. UNCLE VANYA began performances on Friday, September 7 and runs through Sunday, October 14.

Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) today announced a new initiative, a three-week, multi-disciplinary Bach Festival featuring 15 concerts across three venues in Manhattan, June 6-22, 2019. The programmatic centerpieces include performances by Paul Taylor Dance Company and the Goldberg Variations, which receives two interpretations - including the U.S. premiere of Bernard Labadie's orchestral setting - and provides the Festival theme: 'Transformation.'
