A Lasting Impression Productions LLC is pleased to announce the readings of the new musical A Lasting Impression at New York Musical Festival will star Tony nominee JENNIFER DAMIANO (Next to Normal, American Psycho, Spring Awakening) as Kali, CIARA RENEE (Big Fish, Pippin) as Jo, and MEGHANN FAHY (Next to Normal) as Simone. KRISTA PIOPPI (Lazarus) will play Voice of Kali. Additional casting is yet to be announced. The reading is directed by WHITNEY MOSERY (King Charles III, American Psycho).

Cast members reunite to sing from AMERICAN PSYCHO, SPRING AWAKENING and other Sheik favorites.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF), previously known as The New York Musical Theatre Festival, announced today the initial slate of artists participating in NYMF 2016, taking place from July 11 through August 7 in Midtown Manhattan.

It's that time of year, and I can't help but wonder if your CD collection and iPod are Tonys ready. It's just a handful of hours until the 70th annual Tony Awards, and New York City and theatre fans across the world are excitedly buzzing about this year's ceremonies which will be broadcast live on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 8/7c on CBS. This Broadway season has some exciting contenders in the musical categories, and to get you ready for the big night, I'm recapping the albums you should be listening to (or at least pre-ordering).

On Monday, June 6, the Theater People podcast welcomes Tony nominee Jennifer Damiano. She made her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in the groundbreaking and Tony Award-winning musical SPRING AWAKENING. She went on to originate the role of Natalie in the Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt musical NEXT TO NORMAL, for which she earned a Tony Award nomination.

AMERICAN PSYCHO, the American premiere of the musical based on the iconic novel by Bret Easton Ellis, plays its final performance on Broadway today, Sunday, June 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. American Psycho will have played a total of 81 performances. Patrick Bateman has officially arrived! Just last week, the company of AMERICAN PSYCHO took their first bows at the Schoenfeld Theatre.  BroadwayWorld was on hand for the whole evening, starting with the sacred Gypsy Robe ceremony.
