Kathleen Marshall to Host 'A FUNNY THING HAPPENED' at Feinstein's/54 Below

Sometimes a single song can save a show. This June, three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall comes to the Feinstein's/54 Below stage to share the nail-biting stories behind the 11th-hour songs that saved the day and became Broadway classics in "A Funny Thing Happened: Songs From The Road To Broadway," direct from a sold-out run at the 92nd Street Y.

Oliver Chris Boards Alistair Beaton's FRACKED! at Chichester Festival

The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye reports that Oliver Chris has joined the cast of Alistair Beaton's new play FRACKED! OR: PLEASE DON'T USE THE F-WORD at Chichester Festival Theatre. Richard Wilson will helm the production, currently scheduled to run at the Minerva Theatre from 8 July - 6 August.

Rajiv Joseph's Guards at the Taj, produced by the Atlantic Theater Company, received the Obie Award® for Best New American Play, which is accompanied by a $1,000 prize. Legendary actor/dancer/choreographer Carmen de Lavallade and renowned playwright A.R. Gurney each received a special Obie Award® for Lifetime Achievement. Obie and Screen Actors Guild® Award-winning actress Lea DeLaria returned as host of this year's ceremony, which was held at Webster Hall (125 East 11th Street).

According to Deadline, Ewan McGregor has signed on to lead the third installment of FX's Emmy, Golden Globe, AFI and Peabody award-winning limited series FARGO.

Halley Feiffer to Discuss New Play 'A FUNNY THING HAPPENED...' at Drama Book Shop

The Drama Book Shop will welcome back playwright and actress Halley Feiffer for an intimate discussion about her craft and her new play, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Gynecologic Oncology Unit At Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Of New York City. The play is currently receiving its world premiere at MCC's Lucille Lortel Theatre.  Feiffer and Playwright and Drama Book Shop employee Steven Carl McCasland will discuss her work on Friday, May 27th at 5:00pm. Aaron Tveit to Join Gavin DeGraw & Andy Grammer in Concert at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts

Sullivan and Orange County, NY natives, Gavin DeGraw, Andy Grammer, and special guest Aaron Tveit will be making their debut performance at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Sunday, August 28 at 7:00 p.m. Part of the 10th Anniversary celebration of Bethel Woods, this special "Home At Last" concert will kick-off a national tour for DeGraw and Grammer, with Aaron Tveit joining for this one night only.

August Wilson's JITNEY and COST OF LIVING Added to MTC's 2016-17 Season

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have just announced two additional productions as part of Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming 2016-2017 season: The Broadway premiere of August Wilson's Jitney, directed by Tony Award winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson and the New York Premiere of Cost of Living, written by Martyna Majok and directed by Jo Bonney, in association with Williamstown Theatre Festival, Mandy Greenfield Artistic Director. Cost of Living will have its World Premiere at Williamstown Theatre Festival on the Nikos Stage from June 29 to July 10, 2016.

Amanda Peet to Star in Funny Or Die's BROCKMIRE on IFC

IFC today announced that Amanda Peet (Togetherness, The Good Wife, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip) has joined the cast of its forthcoming comedy Brockmire, from Funny Or Die, starring and executive produced by Hank Azaria as disgraced sportscaster Jim Brockmire, who is trying to rebuild his life and career after an epic on-air meltdown that went viral before there was viral, trended before there were trends and gained immediate international notoriety. The season of eight 30-minute episodes will premiere on IFC in 2017.
