The Tony Award winning hit musical AN AMERICAN IN PARIS just celebrated its first year on Broadway last night, April 12. Since it opened on April 12, 2015 at the Palace Theatre, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS has played 416 regular performances and 29 previews and has been seen by over 650,000 people. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tony winner Alan Cumming has signed on to join Emma Stone and Steve Carell in Fox Searchlight's 1973 Billie Jean King/Bobby Riggs comedy BATTLE OF THE SEXES.
Playwrights Horizons will present INDIAN SUMMER, the world premiere of a new play by Gregory S. Moss (Reunion, punkplay, Billy Witch, La Brea, Orange Hat Grace, House of Gold), directed by Carolyn Cantor (Fly by Night, The Great God Pan, After the Revolution, Essential Self-Defense at PH; Pumpgirl; Orange Flower Water; Stone Cold Dead Serious). Commissioned by Playwrights Horizons, the play is the sixth and final production of the theater company's acclaimed 2015/2016 Season.

The Public Theater has announced a one-week extension for the New York premiere of Head of Passes, part of Oskar Eustis' 10th anniversary season. Written byTarell Alvin McCraney and directed by Tina Landau, Head of Passes officially opened last night, Monday, March 28 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, April 17.
