The Ad Council, the largest producer of public service advertisements in the U.S., announced today that James Corden will host its 63rd Annual Pubic Service Award Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City on November 16, 2016.

Two River Theater announces the cast and creative team for its production of August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson. The production will run September 10-October 9, 2016, with the opening night on Friday, September 16 at 8pm.

Garry Marshall, best known for creating such iconic 1970s' TV shows as 'Happy Days,' 'The Odd Couple,' and for directing such classic films as Pretty Woman' and 'The Princess Diaries,' passed away on Tuesday, July 19th in Burbank, Calif. due to complications from pneumonia following a stroke. He was 81.

Last year, it was announced that a Broadway revival of SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE was on the way for summer 2016, with direction by Jerry Zaks and choreography by Warren Carlyle. Those plans never panned out, but now according to an Equity casting notice, the show, which holds the record as Broadway's longest running revue (2036 performances), will get a NYC developmental lab with a different creative team. A presentation will be held on September 24, under the direction of John Rando, with choreography by Joshua Bergasse.

T. Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, announces the next T. Fellow is Christopher Maring, the fifth fellow in the one?year program designed to educate and empower new creative producers. The fellow will receive a stipend of $10,000 with a $20,000 budget for the development of a new theatrical production.

Broadway history has been made! For the first time ever, two Mexican-born actors are leading a Broadway musical. Latin superstars, and long-time friends, Bianca Marroquin and Jaime Camil will appear on stage opposite each other as 'Roxie Hart' and 'Billy Flynn' for 24 performances only through Sunday, July 31st  (when Mr. Camil ends his run).  Marroquin will continue in her role through Sunday, August 21st at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St., NYC). "Broadway Stands Up for Freedom" will boast performances by some of Broadway's finest on Monday, July 18, at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place). According to multiple reports, award-winning Broadway actor John McMartin has passed away at the age of 86. McMartin most recently appeared on Broadway in 2014's ALL THE WAY and the 2011 revival of ANYTHING GOES.

The Actors Fund's Annual Jock Duncan Celebri-TEE Golf & Tennis Outing will take place on Monday, July 25, 2016 at the historic Knickerbocker Country Club in Tenafly, New Jersey. Attendees will join Golf Chair Peter Gallagher (The O.C., Covert Affairs, On the 20th Century) and Tennis Chair Norm Lewis (The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, Scandal) for summer sport to raise funds in support of The Actors Fund's Lillian Booth Actors Home. 

Trip of Love, New York's high-voltage 1960's Pop Music Spectacular, welcomes Nia Sioux to the company. Starting July 12, the star of the hit Lifetime Television series 'Dance Moms' will join the company, performing specialty dance solos including 'These Boots Are Made for Walkin', 'Moon River,' and 'Wipe Out.'
