Manhattan Theatre Club just hosted its annual Spring Gala last night, May 16 at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street) honoring Marie T. Gallagher, Senior Vice President, PepsiCo, Inc. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the special night and you can check out photos below!
This year's gala was hosted by Tony Award-winning playwright and performer Sarah Jones (Bridge and Tunnel, Sell/Buy/Date) and featured performances by many of the most acclaimed musicals on Broadway including Bright Star, The Color Purple, Fiddler on the Roof, Jersey Boys, Motown The Musical, Shuffle Along, and Waitress.
Featured appearances included Tony Award nominee Carmen Cusack (Bright Star), Tony Award nominee Danielle Brooks, Phoenix Best, Carrie Compere, Adrianna Hicks, Carla R. Stewart and Rema Webb (The Color Purple); six-time Tony Award nominee Danny Burstein, Tony Award nominee Jessica Hecht, Adam Kantor, Ben Rappaport, and Nick Rehberger(Fiddler on the Roof); Stephen Cerf, Rory Max Kaplan, Michael Lomenda, Dominic Scaglione, Jr., Candi Boyd, Sara Schmidt, and Kara Tremel (Jersey Boys); Allison Semmes, Dana Marie Ingraham, Trisha Jeffrey, and Elijah Ahmad Lewis (Motown The Musical); Tony Award nominee Adrienne Warren (Shuffle Along); and three-time Tony Award nominee Christopher Fitzgerald (Waitress). All performers are subject to change.
